Advice from Anna Grace

“During recruitment, be still and trust in the Lord. The week can seem so long but it truly goes by in the blink of an eye and the next thing you know you are like me, going through your last recruitment as a senior. Remember the kind of person you are, but also the kind of person you want to be, and choose a home that will push you to be the best version of yourself. Even if you are nervous, remember the girls recruiting you are just as nervous but also excited to get to know you. Each year we get a new MC, I am grateful to make even more friends, and I cannot wait to create more friendships through MC ‘25. Be yourself, and the Lord will bless you with your home away from home forever.”

VP Recruitment

Advice from Reece

“My advice would be to stay true to your heart. Everyone’s experience during recruitment is going to completely different, so don’t worry about not having the same experiences as others. Choose a house that you feel free and comfortable to be yourself in and show who you are. I promise that if you go with your gut, you will pick the house that is made just for you. Your unique qualities have set you apart for a reason. God has already picked the right sisterhood out for you, so go confidently and know that you will find the right one!”

VP Recruitment Information

Advice from Katelynn

“As a senior about to go through recruitment season one last time, my biggest piece of advice is this: don’t rush the process or get caught up stressing over the small stuff. Recruitment is about finding a sisterhood that feels like home, and sometimes that sisterhood appears when you least expect it. It’s completely okay to ask questions, be honest with yourself about how you’re feeling, and take little moments to breathe and recharge when you need them. The friendships you’re about to make will truly last a lifetime, so focus on building real, meaningful connections instead of trying to impress anyone. Because of this mindset, I’ve met some of the most incredible girls, found my future bridesmaids, and grown in ways I never imagined all because I trusted my gut and ran home to Alpha Chi! So be kind to yourself, take it day by day, and remember that you’ve got this. I’m cheering for you every step of the way!“

VP PR & Marketing

Advice from Brenya

“As a senior starting my last year in Alpha Chi Omega, I can tell you that recruitment is all about finding the place that feels like home. Sisterhood is not always just about the letters, but about the people who make you feel like you belong. Here in Alpha Chi, I’ve found a place where I have become the best version of myself, and I pray that you will find that too. With that being said, trust your gut and let it lead you to the people who see you for who you are, and love you for it. Recruitment can be overwhelming, but I know you will find a place that feels like home, just like Alpha Chi Omega is to me.”

Assistant Recruitment

Advice from Olivia

“We want to get to know your true unapologetic self because you were not created to be someone else! The most important thing is to remember the reason you want to rush, and let this be your guide to let your true self shine. The best advice I have is to write down your values and how you want to grow. Every time before I walked into a house, I would read this to make sure I was staying true to myself and not changing for each conversation. It’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of recruitment, so I found this to help me have meaningful, funny, and memorable conversations. I felt comfort being myself in Alpha Chi, and I have never stopped growing since. It may be scary to put yourself out there, but when you find those people you feel comfort talking to and can see yourself growing, you will know you are home. So don’t worry and just be true to you.”

Assistant Recruitment Information

Advice from Kori

“My greatest piece of advice to you as we look forward to recruitment is to bring your most authentic self to the table. My favorite thing about Alpha Chi is how genuine each and every one of our sisters are. We know and love each other for what makes us unique. We could have never fostered such a strong sisterhood without the diversity and individuality that exists throughout our chapter today. With that being said, we want each and every one of you to feel comfortable sharing your true, authentic selves with us as we have the pleasure of sharing this recruitment experience with you all!”
